Summary:
Ericsson, a global leader in telecommunications, showcases its latest innovations annually to a B2B audience across a 6,000 sqm space at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
“The Imagine Possible Experience” occupied 1,000 sqm of this space, offering immersive, sensory environments that transported guests into the future and explored how technology could shape everyday life.
The remaining 5,000 sqm of the stand featured product activations, hospitality areas, VIP lounges, and meeting rooms.
My role with Jack Morton focused on leading the 3D design for “The Imagine Possible Experience”, while also overseeing the on-site delivery of the full 6,000 sqm stand.
Concept:
Visitors entered an artistic cube installation, where an overhead LED display showcased abstract, moving brand content—visible even to the wider exhibition hall outside the Ericsson space.
Inside the cube, guests were offered a glimpse into how current technological developments could shape the world in the years to come.
From there, a series of immersive environments told different stories: from the everyday experience of a consumer shopping in a retail space of the future, to witnessing the manufacturing of a product in a futuristic factory.
The experience accommodated groups of 10 guests per environment and ran over four days, providing an intimate yet highly engaging exploration of Ericsson’s vision for the future.
